WHY ARE WE BBI MARINE

Having served extensively at sea as a Chief Engineer and Navigation Officer and later assuming executive leadership roles within the global maritime industry, I also spearheaded the launch of a cargo operation startup in North America. During this journey, I assessed the existing support structures for the sector. It became clear that the conventional practice of ship-owner or operator-conducted surveys is costly, mainly due to travel expenses, and often constrained by the limited time vessels spend in port.

At BBI Marine, we offer a wide range of services to cater to the diverse needs of our clients. This includes vessel surveys, registration services for registries approved by the International Maritime Organization (IMO) and recognized globally for their Quality Assurance certification.

We also provide owner surveys for commercial vessels, third-party ISM auditing of ships, technical consulting, and owners' representative services. Our approach is flexible, working collaboratively with clients to tailor our services to meet their specific needs or to help identify those needs when necessary.

WHERE ARE WE

Situated in the Seattle, WA region, BBI Marine operates within the expansive Pacific Northwest and United States. Serving as the gateway to Asia, this region boasts deep-sea ports like Seattle and Tacoma, ports in Alaska and Portland, and a bustling trade route on the Columbia River. The Pacific Northwest is home to a thriving community of yachts and pleasure boats, not to mention one of the largest fishing fleets in the United States.
